· BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent (PhD a plus).
· Several years of software development experience.
· Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems.
· Experience with Unix/Linux or Windows environments, C++ development, distributed systems, machine learning, information retrieval, network programming and/or developing large software systems a plus.

International Product Manager - Seoul
Position based in Seoul, Korea.

Country Marketing Manager
Position based in Seoul, Korea.
Do you love Google? Interested in learning more about one of the most cutting-edge technology companies in the world? We are looking for flexible, hardworking, experienced people, passionate about Google, to analyze, measure, position, package, and promote Google's product and business offerings in Korean market. This role will be responsible for supporting Google's consumer awareness and revenue generating efforts in the Korean market through effective and results-focused marketing campaigns. Key activities include organizing, negotiating and managing direct mail campaigns, partnership marketing and affiliate programs, online/offline advertising campaigns, trade shows, Google events and seminars.
Implement the marketing plan for Google's consumer, advertiser and publisher products in Korea, working closely with the Google product and corporate marketing teams in the U.S. and the regional Google sales and marketing teams.
Implement local marketing programs encompassing a combination of marketing tactics including direct marketing, affiliate marketing, stand-alone events and seminars, online/offline advertising and promotions.
Evaluate consumer marketing opportunities and initiate programs to increase awareness of Google search in Korea through development of creative programs, brand awareness campaigns and promotions.
Drive the creation of local marketing communications materials including sales collateral, presentations, merchandise, print and online advertising, and email newsletters.
Implement the APAC agency strategy in Korea, solicit and evaluate agency bids, and manage agency relationships.
Evaluate trade shows and industry events and advise on where company participation or sponsorship would be appropriate. Oversee the creation of trade show materials and the implementation of any sponsorship presence at events. Negotiate and organize Google presence at these events.
Organize standalone Google events and workshops, where appropriate.
Champion the needs of the Korea market in a fast-changing and dynamic international company.
Contribute proactively to the overall development of Google through ideas and creativity based in solid market and sector knowledge.
Create and manage co-marketing, reseller and other third party relationships.
Provide tools and collateral and create an event strategy to enable resellers to effectively sell Google's advertising products.
Develop and implement ongoing retention programs and manage advertiser and publisher communications.
Source and analyze research material in specific industry categories as needed to provide statistical support for marketing and sales efforts in general.

Education and language skills:
BA/BS degree from recognized top university.
Fluent in English and Korean.
Minimum 3-5 years marketing experience in the Korean market.
1-3 years Internet, online services/media industry experience.
Agency background and client services/management experience a plus.
Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market.
Understanding of the search, online advertising, or web publishing markets.
Understanding of Google's strategic and competitive position.
Proven ability to deliver outstanding and highly creative marketing achievements with limited budgets.
Thorough knowledge of off/online advertising planning, tracking and reporting.
Skills and abilities:
Motivated and creative with the ability to self-manage.
Project management skills and the ability to multitask across projects and products.
Strong negotiation and budget management skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluency in English also required.
Demonstrated excellence with agency and client relations
Facile with print/online graphical software and print production management

Strategic Partner Development Manager, Wireless
Position will be based in Seoul, Korea.
Google is looking for Strategic Partner Development individuals who can bring their excellent partner/business development experience to assist us in structuring and negotiating significant and complex relationships in our growing Web Search and Syndication team. This individual will travel extensively and help build our presence in Asian Pacific markets. Candidates must be extremely partner focused, proactive and work effectively within a team environment.
Identify, structure and negotiate revenue generating relationships with large and strategic partners in Asia Pacific key markets, particularly China, Korea and Japan.
In addition to negotiating and closing contracts, you will forecast probability and timing of contract completion.
MBA/JD and 8+ years of related partner or business development experience preferred or BS/BA and 10+ years of related partner or business development experience.
Must have 5+ years of deal experience and at least 2 years in relevant wireless deal experience in Asia Pacific.
Very experienced deal negotiator.
Strong understanding of financial modeling.
Outstanding sales skills.
Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills.
Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast paced constantly evolving team environment.
Attention to Detail.
Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross functionally with all levels of management within Google.
Fluent English and Korean required.
